Electrical Installation Condition Report

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS CAN DETERIORATE WITH USE AND AGE, PERIODIC FIXED WIRE TESTING IS ESSENTIAL TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF USERS AND THE SAFETY AND SERVICEABILITY OF EQUIPMENT. 

Sometimes referred to as 'Fixed Wire Testing' or ‘Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR). Fixed wire testing involves a full visual inspection of the electrical system and its accessories wherever it is physically possible to gain access. A range of testing procedures are also carried out ensuring that the electrical system is safe to use and protect end users from any faults that may occur. 

Please be aware that testing can cause some disruption to the work areas due to the requirements for switching on and off circuits during testing.

All fixed wire testing carried out by K-Test are in accordance with the Institute of Electrical Engineers Current Edition of the Wiring Regulations (BS7671) Guidance Note 3.
